I use photography as a means to document the quiet and overlooked corners of the world around us all. I make photographs for myself, to connect with the things we’ve created and to catalog the show that nature constantly provides. Whether it is the millennia it takes a river to carve a valley or the generations of hearts and souls that worked a forgotten land, my goal is to communicate the emotion of the moment of observation. The focus of my work is in capturing serene images that subtly convey the passage of time. I seek out the things around us that most people never get to see and present them in a way uncluttered and engaging manner. I am inspired by what is behind us and around us and how it shapes what is ahead of us.
