It is my objective to explore and illustrate life experiences as a Visual Storyteller using a variety of mediums that will test and stress the nuances, layers, and nature of the essence of existence. I share these moments as Artifacts, in both abstract and representational forms, voiced humbly from my perspective. Through both my paintings and sculptural objects, I seek to express a mapping of connection and ultimately growth of mind between that which is tangible and that which is often shunned as the unmentionable and fleeting. My textural paintings are expressed first through journal writings then covered by layers of paint revealing dips into the past and rises to the future. My sculptural forms, created mostly in steel and textiles are highly detailed and deconstructed epics of castoffs of a former existence, acting as archives culminating in an explosion of subconscious sharing.
