In my work I try to convey loss, love, joy, and fight through dimensions of constructed metal and mixed media. I base my imagery on the thoughts and feeling that naturally come from memories and my current ever-changing life. This can range from abstract aesthetically pleasing art through color, to more emotional in- depth works. The long time relationship I’ve had with metal as a “tin knocker” has led me to see the vast range of creativity, from refined edge to a distressed state. I hope to show through the combination of color and mixed media that beauty can be found in flaws, as well as perfection. And that a simple memory can give you rebirth into a forgotten way of creating art.
