steve OLIVER Steve Oliver grew up in Northern New York, between the Thousand Islands and the Adirondack mountains. Here he gained a deep sense of appreciation for the outdoors. A self taught artist, he now lives and works in Delaware Valley. His inspirations come from local treasures such as the Bombay Hook Wildlife Refuge, Ridley Creek State Park as well as more distant places like Alaska, Florida and Wyoming. Over the past 20 years, Steve has received much recognition and won numerous awards and honors, while participating in some of the most prestigious wildlife art shows and competitions throughout the United States. His work has been selected for several conservation stamps and has benefited a variety of wildlife and habitat organizations. Most recently, the 2010 Delaware Duck Stamp will feature a painting by Steve, and will be released in July. Click here to visit the Steve Oliver website. Steve will be exhibiting on the grounds surrounding the lake at the studio of David Oleski |
